In 1999, Tom Jackson designed the property around our new home. Today, everyone who visits believes our forest of mixed trees, thick holly hedge, berms with birches and rhododendrons, rose beds on the lawn to the beach, stone walks, and rock walls have been here forever. When Bebe and I realized that our annual flower bed was not something we were enjoying much anymore we made an appointment with Tom to see what could be done. A plan was started for one new bed of large stones and year-round plants. It made such a difference to our home that Tom has completed three more gardens that we are proud to show.

The selection of plantings staggered the blooming periods to ensure that the landscape provided a continuous display of color. The stone wall and walkway are outstanding examples of true craftsmanship.
